Frequently Asked Questions about playing at
Blossom Play Cafe
1: I have multiple children, do I have to pay the same rate for all of them?
You don’t need to! We have discounted punch passes, ideal for families with more than one child. Or consider a membership for even greater discounts. Otherwise, we ask you to buy a play pass for each child who is playing.
2: Will kids and parents have to take off their shoes?
Our play area is strictly SOCKS ONLY. No shoes, no bare feet. This allows our little crawlers to explore freely & safely. Per the health department, we are required to keep our feet covered at all times. Socks are required for infants, children & adults. If you forget, we have non-slip socks for $3 plus tax, available in all sizes.
3: What age do you start charging children to play?
If your child is playing, we ask that you pay for them to do so. Children under 1 are always free with a paid sibling–otherwise, we start charging at 6 months. Our play area is geared towards babies, toddlers and preschool age children…which is why we charge for these age groups. We also welcome baby-wearing!
4: What about my child who is older than 6? Can they come too?
Of course! We welcome children that are outside of our age-range. While not permitted to use our play equipment, they can help a friend or sibling play. We also provide table activities in the cafe that might interest them while visiting.
5: Can we bring in our own snacks & food?
Absolutely! We will have wholesome snacks and finger foods available for purchase, but we understand that our offerings won’t work for everyone. We do ask that all beverages consumed in our facility (besides water or bottles) be purchased in our cafe. Please consume any food/snacks in our cafe area. Also, you may not bring in a birthday cake or cupcakes during open-play hours.
6: Is my play-pass good for the day?
Yes, once you purchase a play-pass, you may use it for re-entry during another play session that day as long as space is available.
7: Can I use my friends membership card or give mine to a friend to use?
No. Memberships must be used within immediate family ONLY. You may not allow other families to use your membership at any time, even if they are visiting with you. They will need to purchase their own pass or membership.
8: Does your facility enforce a play capacity?
Yes, we make sure that the play area is as comfortable as possible at all times. Our total capacity is limited to a combination of 46 children and adults.
9: Can I have my child’s birthday party during normal business hours?
No, we do not allow parties of any kind during normal business hours. If you are bringing in your child on his/her birthday, please consider our affordable options (starting at $5) for making your child feel special….we can display a personalized birthday message and even have a balloon & a treat waiting for them! Please contact us 2-3 days in advance by DM or email.
10: Can you pay for classes or events at the door?
All classes and events require online registration. If you need help ahead of time, we are happy to assist you at the check-in desk. Registering ahead of time helps us plan ahead and make sure that our events are not too crowded.
11: May I drop off my child and run an errand?
A responsible adult must accompany & stay with your child. We are not a child-care facility and do not have the capacity to provide those services.
12: What if I need to cancel my reservation?
We completely understand that things happen in life, especially sickness and unexpected events. While we do not offer a refund, we are happy to move your reservation to another available date if you cancel BEFORE your scheduled play time. You can DM or email us at hello@blossomplaycafe.com to let us know.
